THE SITES

The purpose of the Comebe is to recover the history and memory of the Battle of the Ebro, as well as the enhancement and management of the remains and the memorial heritage that are linked to it. This heritage set consists of five Interpretation Centres, two Memorials and about twenty historic sites where the battle took place.

The sites of the Battle of the Ebro are a tool to promote the knowledge and dissemination of the facts and sites of the Civil War, a pioneering initiative of memory tourism in our country and a unique educational tool to learn about the past, to promote the culture of peace and democratic values in society.

Access to the Interpretation Centres is prior to admission and is free at most historic sites and Memorials. Respect and take care of the environment, natural areas are a collective heritage.
